
Serological Modeling for Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (VPDs)
In these projects, we generate and analyze population-level serological data to better understand spatio-temporal trends in vaccination coverage and immunity gaps. While a major focus of this work is on antibody responses to VPDs, we are interested in leveraging serology -- and increasingly, multiplexed serological platforms -- to understand the burden and transmission dynamics of infectious pathogens more broadly. We actively collaborate with researchers at JHSPH’s IVAC and beyond to develop quantitative frameworks to analyze and interpret the results of serosurveys.
