Natalya is a PhD student in general epidemiology and methodology. She is interested in studying and refining methods used in operational research, focusing on epidemiology of infectious diseases and outbreak control in humanitarian settings. She received her MPH in Global Epidemiology from Emory University and BS in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Caltech. Prior to joining the group, she worked with International Medical Corps, providing support to humanitarian response in Chad, Central African Republic, and at headquarters.
