Aybüke is a PhD student in infectious disease epidemiology. She is interested in improving outbreak response strategies for hepatitis E and cholera in humanitarian settings and generating data to assess the impact of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) interventions and vaccines in outbreaks. Aybüke received her MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from UC Berkeley, and prior to joining JHSPH worked at CDC as a Global Epidemiology fellow focused on strengthening vaccine confidence in low-income settings.
